Students at a vegetable lab are trying to finda cure for a disease that kills potato crops.
Another pair of girls in a biology lab are working on genetic engineering. They are also working with potatoes, but interbreeding them to create hybrids of certain potato plants.
These two, who we visited today, are researching snails (caracoles) in an ecology and physiology lab.
