Today was my host aunt's birthday. (Carolina, the one on the right in the photo below) Here they don't put candles on the cake, and they don't sing either, but they do give presents in the morning. The cake was not cake in the way I was expecting, more like an enormous flaky pastry, with dulce de leche as well. We also made "navegante," wine heated over a stove with spices, sugar, and fruit.
Micha wanted to share the cake with us as well.
